Ever since the first Google algorithm update, Google has had great intentions of wiping out sites that do not deserve to rank and along the way they wiped out some sites that have a true following and really deserve to rank well.  For keywords like “Chatroulette”, “free chat”, “video chat” and many more similar keywords many of the sites that appear in the first page results are by no means the most relevant or popular and this new update may change everything.  We are hoping that with the new update they rank sites that are relevant higher and if they do we stand to gain new users.  The more users we have online the more fun the site is for all the rest of the users.

We have been getting ready for this update and I think we are, we have focused all of our efforts on building our brand rather than just building links which is what I believe the future of Google rank will require.  We are one of the top 3 roulette sites out there so I really believe this new update will benefit our site and our users.

We are waiting with anxiety and excitement to see what the biggest update ever from Google will look like.  We will update you as soon as it hits and we know more.

Our hard work is paying off!  Chatrandom is now growing faster than all the other Chatroulette alternative websites.  We have been adding features, fixing bugs and improving the site everyday and our traffic shows we are heading in the right direction!

By giving our users great new features and fixing things that didn’t work our users are coming back more than ever and new users keep coming in droves!

We now have over 15 million monthly users and hope to reach our goal of 100 million monthly users sooner than we thought previously.  There is no stopping us, we provide a free service that people love and we will continue improving and building on the foundation which has propelled us to where we are now!

We want to take a moment and thank our users because without none of this would be possible.  We also want to thank everyone who has helped us including our programmers, moderators and everyone else that is helping us reach our goals!

More amazing features are coming soon including free Cam Shows, an improved Multichat and more changes for our Roulette!  Our new Cam Shows that are in the works will be similar to sites like Livejasmin and Imlive but instead of charging our users per minute it will be 100% free, something none of those sites or any sites are currently offering!

Happy Monday to everyone!  For the last week we have been working around the clock to better organize Chatrandom so it is more useful for our users around the world.  We have developed a standardized language system and are almost done with our first roll-out of languages.  The first 9 languages are: Chinese, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Portuguese and Arabic.  We are almost done with all the translations which should make it easier for users in those languages to use our site.  We have been getting complaints that some users are being redirected from the English site even though they still want to use English and we are looking into the best way to solve that problem.

Once we are done we will start our next group of languages and will update you on the blog once that is finished.  With this change we are moving to become a truly global site with a focus on catering to everyone not just English speaking users.

We have also made some changes to our Chatroulette section of the site making it easier for new users to understand what we do!

Lastly we implemented a new help / forum section of the site, so if you have any suggestions or questions please make sure to visit our new help forum and share your ideas so we can further improve Chatrandom.

We are working on adding forums to the site so our community can connect in another way and discuss important issues on the site.  Users will soon be able to report bugs, problems and also have a way to reconnect and communicate through our forum.  We are very excited about the new feature and will update our community as soon as it’s done!

We promised to update you on the progress of our improvement to the Multichat Cam4 feature on our site and we are making good on that promise.  Today we launched the search feature, simply start typing a username and it will filter everything out except what you are looking for.  We know that when there are hundreds of users online it is really hard to search through every single username to find the specific person you want to watch so we added this very useful feature.

We are also almost done fixing a major bug which is: when you are using Multichat for a while the users that leave are not removed from the user list making it a real drag because you run into many cams that just won’t turn on.  Hopefully today it will be fixed and when users exit the room it will remove them from the user list.

Many more bug fixes and improvements are on the way, we are hard at work making this feature better and better everyday.  If you run into any bugs or want to give us an idea for a new feature you would like to see on Multichat Cam4, please feel free to contact us.  We are thankful for any input we can get from our users!
